Why do you
not charge for your lists and
other sites charge for basic information ?
As a fellow Celiac, I constantly
do research
in order to find gluten free foods and medicines
that my daughter and myself can consume safely.
I also like to stay abreast of current research by
both physicians and scientist in this field and do
not feel that I need to be reimbursed for sharing
the wealth with my fellow Celiacs. Sometimes
I am slower than the commercial sites in updating,
but I refuse to put up any information that is not
verified personally by me through a vendor or
manufacture of a food or drug and I do not use
outdated information. Many of the larger less
personable sites give you information that
has been provided by their members and much of
the information submitted is based on personal
experiences and not on concrete proof. Remember just
because someone uses a product and does not have a
reaction to it, it does not mean it is gluten free; however,
this method is used frequently on the Internet along with
verification of gluten free products that are outdated.
Products change formulations often because of
productions costs so one month a particular product
may be gluten free and then the next month it is not.
I am currently working on a database to include gluten
free medicine and food that have been verified gluten
free and it will be free of charge, so please keep checking
back with us to see our new developments.
